Adhesive cable tie mounts give a drill-free fixing: the base bonds to panels, walls and enclosures, and a cable tie passes through the mount to secure the run. Bonding options include yellow, green and 3M adhesive bases, chosen to match the surface and the load. Saddle cable tie mounts use a cradle-shaped U-channel that keeps cables flat and stable and protects them from vibration and chafing, and are screw-mounted for heavier harnesses. P type cable clamps wrap around a cable, hose or pipe and bolt down, giving higher pull-out resistance than a flat mount; they are produced in nylon 66, stainless steel and rubber-lined versions, with a UL94 V-2 rating on the nylon parts. Masonry cable tie mounts are the version to use on brick and concrete, where an adhesive base will not hold.
