A cable gland seals the point where a cable enters an enclosure, and this range covers the four body styles most installations call for. Plastic PG and metric glands are moulded in nylon for industrial, outdoor and automation use, with IP68 sealing and integrated strain relief so the cable cannot be pulled or twisted at the terminal. NPT glands use NPT threads for North American enclosures and are rated IP68/IP69K, with chemical resistance for washdown and process areas. Spiral cable glands add a flexible spiral flex guard that absorbs bending and vibration where the cable leaves the gland — usually the first failure point on moving machinery. Metal cable glands in brass, stainless steel and aluminium are specified where heavy-duty entry, mechanical protection and higher temperature service are required.
Typical applications include control panels, machine tools, outdoor enclosures, automation cells, and food or chemical plants where washdown and chemical exposure are routine.
Wandu has manufactured wiring accessories since 2011 and holds ISO 9001, CE (LVD) and RoHS. Glands are available with OEM/ODM options on thread type, size and colour, with a 3–15 day lead time after order and payment confirmation.
